CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Caleti. 2nd century BC. Quarter Stater (Electrum, 12 mm, 1.52 g, 12 h). Celticized male head with curly hair to right. Rev. Boar standing right on horse standing right; before, bird standing left; below horse, ornament; punctate background. DT 99B. LT -. SLM -. Of the highest rarity, perhaps the second known example. A lovely piece with a very interesting reverse design. Very fine.
